Cleaning = VODKA

Goal of the Day: Clean the House.

It was WAY past due! I've been dreading this all week. {no lie}  It needs the major overhaul....baseboards. fans, windows...everything! My first suggestion to the Love Bug was to get Eva the maid to come, but he pretty much shot that down and let me know it was a waste of money {his opinion, not mine} In the last 3 hours, I've done 5 loads of laundry, scrubbed the shower and the bath tubs and cleaned my baseboards. I also realized why I am such a failure at cleaning the entire house in one day...I have a very hard time stay on task. I mean I am blogging before I start the kitchen. HA!

I wanted to share what I learned today...
VODKA. Yes, it is my beverage of choice on those days I just need a drink, BUT it is also your best friend while cleaning! Who knew?! It cleans windows, the hardware on your sink, BASEBOARDS! Yes my friends, you heard me right...I just pulled out the Tito's, poured it on a towel and made my baseboards sparkle.

Supposedly, it also cleans your diamonds, gets rid of soap residue, kills ants and other insects, (when diluted with water) and gets stains out.

So, next time you need to start cleaning...consider using that bottle of vodka laying around the house. :)

    Vodka is always my drink of choice. I had no idea it doubled as a cleaning agent! Thanks for teaching me something new today!

    I never knew Vodka could be used to actually clean! I'll have to give it a try. :)
