Hello 3rd Trimester!

I'm really not sure if this is officially the beginning of my 3rd trimester or not. 3 websites/apps says it is, one says next week is. Either way...this being pregnant thing has FLOWN by! (granted, I may not be saying that at the end of June)

Here's my dump of pictures from my phone this week...

When I first found out I was pregnant, I did what apparently everyone does these days and downloaded the What to Expect app. :) They had a group of girls (who are all due the same week as I am) that formed a Facebook group...so naturally, I joined. It's been a lot of fun...and reassuring that when weird things happen, chances are its happening to them too and even better, a lot of vet moms know why and can offer advise. We have this thing called "Belly Buddies"(lol) and my buddy, who lives in Atlanta, surprised us with a package this week. She's the sweetest!
I'm pretty sure Tyson is still trying to figure out what in the world is happening. Some days he extra cuddly and then others he just doesn't want to be held. This is probably why. He'll come lay on my stomach and stare at me (while he's getting his ears rubbed, of course) but the second she starts kicking, it freaks him out. Its pretty funny though.
Saturday was an example of an extra cuddly day...he wanted to come with me and was on my heels as I tried to leave. Pretty sure making him pose for pictures changed his mind real quick. lol.
*side note: My stomach IS definitely getting big, but I'm really pushing it out in the picture..you know, just in case you had to do a double take that I grew overnight. :)
Did a little shopping this week. I'm going to go broke very soon with all these girl clothes!
Well, I found a positive I can give about my sucky insurance. I get a free breast pump or in this case two... then they said I can get two more in September when my year starts over. I have no idea how any of this works, but I didn't know you needed more than one. But, I will take them... (I know you're not surprised by this)
We got to see our baby girl this week! She's gotten so much bigger than last time.
I love to just sit in the nursery and try to imagine how much our little lives are about to change. I still can't wrap my brain around it. I've been finding verses to pray over our little girl and sticking them on post it notes over the last month or so. I read them to her everyday. :) I can't really decorate until our furniture arrives, so these are my decorations in the meantime.

Documenting Life.

This is my attempt to be a little better with documenting this journey. My week...well, really weekend...through the eyes of my camera.
Good Friday. I woke up STARVING for this. The dreaded glucose test. Maybe I'm weird, but I didn't see anything wrong with how this tasted. It did however make me extremely sleepy...I came home to a 3 hour nap. Hopefully I passed. Fingers crossed.
I had this fun idea after dinner to make a quick in and out trip to Gap. It was 8:45pm and they were almost closing so for real, IN and OUT. I told Sey to pick out one thing and let's just get it. This is what he picked. So cute and will be perfect for a Texas summer!
My mom has been asking begging for pictures other than just my weekly belly pics...so I made Sey grab the camera and take a few. Most were blurry or me in mid sentence {I need to work with him a little more on the photography skills} but here's a few just for fun.
And finally...here's my inspiration for our nursery. I can't wait for it all to come together. So far we just have the glider and curtains up. {dreamcatcher and bedding are in the closet) Shouldn't be too much longer until the crib and dresser get here. Big shout out to my sister and aunt for making them perfect!

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 weeks 4 Days

Baby size: Baby is the size of a Soccer Ball, Turnip or a Papaya...depending where you look. :)

Weight gain: I have no idea. I feel like I'm staying about that same (10lbs) ...definitely nothing like the growth spurt that occurred last month!

Maternity clothes: Jeans with Belly Band, maternity jeans/leggings, normal tops or dresses

Stretch marks: No ma'am

Exercise: 10. more. days!!!! (I would appreciate your prayers on this)

Sleep: Still pretty good....I'm starting to notice the naps coming back in the late afternoon/evening. This girl LOVES to sleep!

Gender: Girl and she officially has a name! Sydney Kate! I've known for years that if I ever had a baby I wanted her name to be
Sydney. Early on, I ran it by Sey and he loved it the second he heard it too. (mainly because it sounds so much like his name and goes great with our last name, lol) We waited a while just to make sure it was THE name, but it was...it always was.

Movement: It's the best feeling ever.

Wedding Ring: On....but I will say some of these 90 degree days did make it a bit snug on my fingers.

Looking forward to:  Hopefully passing my glucose test. Results should be here tomorrow...

What I miss: Sleeping throughout the night without needing to go to the bathroom...multiple times

Food cravings: No cravings still...

Best moment this week: Sey finally feeling her move. Every time I try to get him to feel her she always stops, or he just doesn't feel it. So finally {while I was asleep} he got to experience it...he told me the next morning. :)
