Today's topic is College Week. I started this up at my school last year after talking with a lot of other schools in my area. The purpose of College Week is to get kids interested in college at an early age and get them thinking about their future. We hope parents will talk about college at home with their children and discuss family plans for the future. All the teachers decorate their doors or hallways for their alma maters and we all wear college apparel all week. It's a ton of fun! Here are a few pictures from our hall. I will have to admit, I didn't go all out this year like I did last year...but I think it still turned out neat.
These are the flags leading into our hallway. This was taken at the beginning of the week. The kids all did one for the school they want to attend too.
