Five on Friday

Thank you Southwest Airlines and their 72 hour sale! I booked 2 tickets to New Orleans in December for a whopping $73 a piece (round trip folks!) HOLLER! I've never been, unless you want to count the drive thru tour I got when I was younger. I am now looking for a good hotel, close to the French Quarter...any suggestions? Any recommendations on what to do? We will be there for 3 days.

The World Series hits Ag-Town this weekend. I'm not sure what the plans are...but I will definitely be in the mix...taking it all in...experience my first World Series. I am not ashamed to say that I am a complete bandwagoner. We're out to a rough start, but maybe we'll turn it around when they return home. Win or Lose...we made it to the 'ship!

This weekend is Halloween. I'm going to have to say...I'm glad I'm not a kid in these parts this year. There is a Cowboys (home) game AND a World Series game ON Halloween. I'm thinking it might be a little tough getting the parentals away from the TV to take you Trick-or-Treating this year kids. Depending on the time of these games, I may or may not have my porch light is on. :) It is also Harper's FIRST Halloween. I wish I could be in Arkansas trick or treating tonight...how cute is she?!?

I have THE itch for a new car. I have had my car for 5 years now which is unheard of! I usually switch it up every 1 1/2- 2 years, but I just love my car. This time around, I want the gadgets and the luxury. Navigation and the bluetooth calling is a MUST. Leather and sunroof is a close second. Here is the car I LOVE, but I'm not quite convinced yet I'm ready to pay the gas on this baby.

I'm pretty sure I will be at Old Navy this weekend. Check out their sale (now through November 4th) $29 pea coats! I think I need one. I'm actually VERY allergic to wool, but I seem to always think I need a pea coat every year. Funny.
