My Hustle

About a month ago I went to visit my friends Alicia and Adam and their new babies! They are absolutely the cutest things ever! They are will be 4 months old next week! This is little Ledger & Holden. Aren't they the cutest?!?
Me feeding Holden (Bad picture of me)

So while I was there, I got schooled by Adam on how to be a better shopper. He is BIG coupon clipper and price matcher! I've never really had an interest in cutting out coupons and didn't even know you could do price matching. (and who know, Wal-Mart and Target both do it!) Needless to say it was one of those lessons I learned a lot from.
So, for about the last month I've been clipping coupons out of the Sunday paper, a printing off of coupons.com and saving all the grocery circulars that come in the mail. :) I even found a blog after watching the nightly news called Penny PinchingI don't know how this lady does it, but she's always getting tons of stuff for next to nothing! I took her up on her deal about razors today and IT WORKED! :)
Coupons are totally my new hustle!
Here is what I got at Target today...

And here is how I did it...
Natural Instincts #20- Target Price $7.99, Price Matched for $5.99. Then used a $2 off and a $4 off when you buy 2 coupon. 2 of my hair color for $5.98!
Right Guard-  Target Price $3.24. I used a buy one get on free and a $3 off coupon. Total price $0.24 for 2 deodorants! WOW!!!
Shick Quattro Razors- (This was from the Penny Pinching Blog) Target price $5.49 and when you buy 2 you get a $5 gift card. I used a $2 Target coupon and a $2 Shick coupon. So with the $5 gift card I got...Total price for 6 new razors is $1.98
Crest Toothpaste- Target Price $2.49 and I used a $0.75 coupon making it $1.74
Cottonelle- (18 double rolls) Target weekly special $9.99. Price match for $6.99 and used a $0.50 coupon. Total cost $6.49
Grand Total $17.78 for everything you see in the picture!
I saved $30.14!
Coupons + Katie = BFF!
