Ever heard of it?
It's basically Facebook for the classroom.
See, it even looks like Facebook. And the REALLY cool thing (to me) is that there is an app. So kids could access from their mobile device.
I'm curious if any of you actually use this in your classrooms and how you use it. It seems really cool, but I'd love your input!
Love Edmodo! I have used it with my 4th graders for the last two years. They have used it to take quizzes, watch videos, take polls, collaborate on a book with another class, back channel during a mystery Skype, communicate with our trucker buddy, or simply to respond to a prompt that I posted.

I used Edmodo this past year and the kids LOVED it! I set very specific ground rules of how it was to be used and even sent a note home letting parents explore and decided if they wanted their child to participate. The only issue that stopped us from using it more was that many of my students did not have internet access. :( I do plan to attempt it again this year but allow before school and end of the day time for students.
